Shoe Clips

I can honestly say I hate wedding shoes. Obviously I am talking about your bog standard plain wedding shoe that for some reason costs an arm and a leg. I reckon most of you out there are planning to go for a high street option for your big day so here's an idea. Make them a bit more special and your own by adding my handmade shoe clips. I use vintage pieces of jewellery in the process so they will make your shoes totally unique.

I've been a busy bee!

Well it has been a challenging couple of weeks being back working and juggling an 8 month old! It's going to be full on! But I have ended up working my little sewing fingers to the bone weekends and evenings to make some brand new and updated styles for the Vintage Wedding Fair in Harrogate this Sunday.




The 3 new garters above are all handmade using gorgeous vintage laces and trims.

And of course my trademark headpieces and fascinators. I love, love, love feathers for winter and loads of you brides planning to go there will be having winter weddings. I have added a matching padded hanger to this one too which makes storing your dress after the day extra special.

Back with a bang

Hi All, Silver Sixpence is nearly back! The little guy is 7 months old and the time has come for me to gradually start working again.

The Vintage Wedding fair coming up in Harrogate on Sunday 27th February- www.vintageweddingfair.co.uk. We will be at the St George Hotel from 12-5pm exhibiting some exciting treats for you brides/bridesmaids and wedding guests to be. There are loads of other fantastic vintage based businesses exhibiting too so take a look.



The event has already been a super success in London too!
